Interest in eco-friendly energy is continuously increasing worldwide. LNG a good source with use. has temperature of -165 ℃ and requires low-temperature toughness for the tank material. High manganese austenitic steel similar mechanical properties to cryogenic materials LNG, as listed IGC IGF codes. easily satisfies requirement at exhibits superior performance terms yield strength, tensile elongation, compared existing mentioned In this study, high was applied an independent type B tank, materials(9 % Ni steel, Sus304, Al5083). The thickness ratio reviewed while loading same fuel. Based on ratio, 9 Al5083 calculated two standard thicknesses 10 20 mm steel. accordance codes, required crack propagation analysis performed resistance each material analyzed.
